The School’s research expertise spans a number of areas including corporate governance, institutions, accounting and corporate policies, agency and contracting issues, financial reporting, analyst forecasts and auditing. We have established the Center of Institutions and Governance in 2005 to promote and facilitate research collaboration among mainland and other Asian scholars. The major focuses of the Center are the accounting and corporate policies of Asian, especially Chinese firms and how institutions affect governance in the region. This helps the School to lay a solid foundation for leading corporate governance research in China and the rest of Asia.
The School treasures opportunities for academic exchanges with overseas institutions. Over the years, we have been actively inviting high profile overseas academics to come to the School as visiting scholars or professors. Many internationally renowned accounting scholars have also been invited to visit the School and share their expert views through thematic seminars and workshops.
