The Faculty has long been at the forefront of top-notch business research. Our research efforts own much international recognition, with the University of Texas-Dallas ranking us No.1 worldwide for publications in the Journal of International Business Studies, during the period of 1995-2008.

While our faculty members' research interests are extensive, a special focus of our research efforts rests on emerging economies in Asia, China in particular. In view of the emerging role of Asia in the global arena, we believe insights in Asian markets will definitely shape the outlook of the world economy.

One of our latest initiatives is the publication of a "China Focus @CUHK" , which is a collection of selected China business researches of the Faculty. Ten timely topics including entrepreneurship, corporate governance, localisation of managers, international business negotiations are covered. Insights developed from these research efforts are essential in understanding the historic and tremendous changes taking place in China.
