The global financial crisis and rise of emerging markets have revealed two key global trends – the growing importance of Asia, and China in particular, in the global arena and the far-reaching role played by corporate social responsibility (CSR) in sustainable development. The growing importance of China and corporate citizenship are, in fact, two significant emphases of our MBA education. This translates into a dedicated concentration on China Business and encouragement for students to explore the key aspects of CSR. Each year, our MBA students form a team that takes the lead in organizing a city-wide CSR conference.
Our MBA students also have the opportunity to gain unparalleled global exposure through intensive encounters with a brilliant cohort of international students and alumni. More than 80% of our full-time MBA students come from outside Hong Kong. This, together with our extensive network of more than 17,000 alumni around the world, provides all parties with an excellent exchange platform.
Our MBA Program, which is ranked top 28 in the world by Financial Times in 2010, provides a wide range of choices that cater for the diverse needs of participants. We offer both full-time and part-time MBA Programs, as well as such dedicated MBA programs as the JD-MBA Program. In partnership with Tsinghua University, we also offer an MBA Program in Finance in Beijing and Shenzhen.
