International Business and Chinese Enterprise

Overview

International Business and Chinese Enterprise (IBCE) is a business stream of the Integrated BBA Program offered by CUHK Business School in collaboration with the Darla Moore School of Business of the University of South Carolina (USC). This business stream targets on students who are interested in pursuing a career in international business with an emphasis on business activities between China and the United States.

Both universities admit 20 students per year. CUHK will admit the first intake in the 2010/2011 academic year.

Students from both universities will form an international class and share a number of courses and experiences together. The class will spend two years of the three-year curriculum at the CUHK campus and one year at the USC campus. Students who have completed their bachelor programs and have fulfilled the minimum entry requirements for the one-year Master of International Business Program offered by USC can opt to continue to the master program at their Columbia campus immediately after their graduating year. Through coursework, internships and overseas field trips, students will personally experience the impact of culture on business practices and gain a broad international exposure.
