Laws and Business Administration (LLB-BBA) Double Degree

The double degree option in Laws and Business is offered for the LLB graduates who would like to pursue the second degree in Business Administration (BBA). The programme is in collaboration with the Faculty of Law.

The double degree option in Laws and Business (LLB-BBA) will give its graduates the intellectual tools to understand and shape the complex legal and business environment in which corporations operate, whether they ultimately choose careers as lawyers or businessmen.

The programme is designed as a 4+1 programme. Students will complete all of the requirements for the LLB degree in the first four years. For details of the graduation requirements of the LLB degree, please refer to the Faculty of Law. The extra year required to pursue the BBA degree will be self-financed and students will be charged marginal costs.

Notes to students who wish to declare LLB-BBA double degree option:
  • Students should declare to enroll in the LLB-BBA double degree option in the second term of their first year of study in LLB Programme.
  • Students should take at least 30 units of second degree courses (i.e. Integrated BBA) within their study period of the first degree (i.e. LLB) (applicable to students admitted in 2009-10 and thereafter), and obtain at least an overall GPA of 3.0 in order to be eligible to pursue the second degree (i.e. Integrated BBA).
  • At around first degree graduation period, students would be requested to fill in the “Declaration Form for Registration of Second Degree” to seek approval to pursue the second degree by both concerned Faculties.
