The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes offered by the Faculty of Business Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong are primarily research-based. We aim to admit students who have attained outstanding research potentials demonstrated by their undergraduate and graduate level achievements and research record. These programmes of advanced studies prepare students for careers in teaching and research in higher education and research institutions, and employment for specialist positions in the private and public sectors which require and advanced research capabilities.

With a long tradition in research and education, the Faulty of Business Administration offers a rigorous programme, supported by a faculty with a wide range of research interests, modern research facilities, and excellent financial support. Members of the Faculty have attained regional and international prominence through the dissemination of their research results in academic journals and seminars throughout the world.
