| The Department of Management focuses on both managment education and research, with special relevance to this region and a global perspective. The Department delivers courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels to meet new challenges in management. The objective is to develop competencies in leading and managing organizations successfully.
The Department has a team of high quality members with international experiences. The team, collectively and individually, engages in research projects related to organizational behavior, human resource management, strategic management, international management, entrepreneurship and organizational change and development. Specially, the management of Chinese organizations, leadership, globalization of firms, and cross-cultural research methods are key projects in the Department.
The Department of Management is also a major player in the newly established Asia Academy of Management, an organization of academics devoted to the fostering of management education and research in this region.
The Department has contributed to the advancement of management knowledge in a number of ways. Particularly worthnoting is the recent achievement of faculty and students in key journals and associations.
