Global Entrepreneurship

This course is designed to introduce students to the creation and management of new ventures in the global era.  It will cover the concept of entrepreneurship, policies and other factors conductive to innovation and new venture creation, writing of business plan, and the skills to manage a new venture.  Cases of new ventures around the globe and visits to local new ventures will be used to illustrate concepts and help students gain insight into new venture creation process.  Students will write, under close direction, a business plan aimed for inviting investment as a requirement of the course.
