1. 
Booking: Advance booking up to 3 months is welcome yet subject to venue availability. Priority will be given to activities of the MBA Town Centre (ˇ§the Centreˇ¨).
2. 
Confirmation: Applicant will be notified by email regarding to the booking application within 3 working days upon receiving the booking form, and that notification is treated as tentative confirmation only. The booking will be officially confirmed upon deposit of 50% of the total rental fee received within 1 week after booking notification.

However, should the situation arise when another party is ready to confirm a venue that has been tentatively blocked, the first party who reserved the space will be notified of the situation and given 3 working days to confirm the booking with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fee.

3. 
Cancellation: Cancellation of any confirmed booking must be notified in writing at least 10 working days prior to the event, otherwise the deposit paid will be forfeited. An administration fee of HKD 500 will be levied for cancellation of any confirmed booking.
4. 
Payment: A deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required within 1 week after booking notification. The balance shall be made on or before the date of event.

Methods of Payment:
(a) 
by Cheque - please return the completed form together with cheque payable to "The Chinese University of Hong Kongˇ¨ to The Chinese University of Hong Kong, MBA Town Centre, Unit B, 1/F, Bank of America Tower, Central, Hong Kong.
(b)
by Bank Pay-in - please make payment at any ˇ§Hang Seng Bankˇ¨ branch (Account Name: The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Account No. 024-293-005005-001) and :
(1) fax the pay-in slip together with enrolment form for confirmation AND
(2) present the original pay-in slip for exchange of an official receipt before the event
5. 
Overtime/Additional Charge: Payment of overtime charge and any additional charge shall be made within 1 week after the event.
6. 
Use of Venue and Facilities: The tenant will be responsible for any damage, accident, injury or loss which may occur during the rented period of the rented premises and facilities. All costs in relation to repair or replacement of rented venue and equipment will be borne totally by the tenant.
7. 
Subletting: Subletting the venue and facilities by the tenant is not allowed.
8. 
Right of the Centre: 1) The Centre reserves the right to decline any booking in any circumstances and for whatever reasons. 2) The Centre reserves the right to release any venue, without notice, that has been tentatively blocked but has not yet confirmed. 3) The Centre reserves the right to arbitrage the final decision in case of any disputes.
9. 
Typhoon / Black Rainstorm: If the Typhoon Signal no. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted before the booked session, the Centre will be closed. If the Typhoon Signal no. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted after the start of an event held in the Centre, the event may continue at the discretion of the tenant until the end of that event. However, the Centre will not be held responsible for the safety of participants.

If the Typhoon Signal no. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning is lowered at the following hours, venues will be opened as appended below:

10. 
Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Centre
11. 
Food / Drinks: No food or drink is allowed inside the Centre area (except approved event). Only pure water is allowed inside classrooms.
