Study Plan

The Part-time MBA curriculum consists of core and elective courses. Each calendar year is divided into three regular terms and a summer term. To graduate, part-time candidates are required to complete 48 units.

Candidates may choose a concentration in one of four areas: China Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance or Marketing. The concentration will be reported on your transcripts.

The part-time curriculum normally takes 24 months to complete in the evening and weekend modes.

Evening Mode

Students normally meet two evenings per week for two courses in each term at the MBA Town Centre (Unit B, 1/F, Bank of America Tower, 12 Harcourt Road, Central), from 6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Weekend Mode

Students meet on CUHK’s main campus from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. every Saturday for two courses in each term. One course is conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the other from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Electives in concentration areas may be offered in evenings or on Saturdays.
