| Eligibility |
|
Full-time CUHK MBA students who have successfully completed 33-36 units of required core and/or required concentration courses are eligible to apply for the Dual Degree Program at MIT Sloan Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS). To be considered, applicants must demonstrate stellar undergraduate and graduate school grade point averages as well as GMAT, GRE, and/or TOEFL scores.

| Curriculum |

The MSMS degree is a 90-unit curriculum with a 66-unit requirement to be completed in MIT coursework. This includes courses at MIT Sloan, other MIT departments, and Harvard University. At least half of the classes (34 of the 66 units) must be in same concentration area. Participants are required to complete a master's thesis (24 units) in their chosen concentration area. |

Each student's curriculum and master's thesis will be directed by a faculty adviser in his or her chosen concentration area. A participant must specify a proposed area of concentration in his or her application. The specific concentration topic can combine courses in one of the following three MIT Sloan areas: |

Behavioral and Policy Sciences, which offers courses in strategy, technological innovation & entrepreneurship, organization studies, and international management;

Economics, Finance, and Accounting, which offers courses in international economics, applied microeconomics, corporate finance, financial engineering, and managerial accounting, as well as other subjects; and

Management Science, which offers courses in operations management, operations research and statistics, information technology, and marketing.

| Unit Recognition at CUHK |
|
Coursework completed under the MSMS, with the overall grade of B or above, will be recognized toward the remaining 18 to 21 units of elective coursework required for completion of the CUHK MBA degree.
Coursework completed under the MSMS with the grade of B or above may also be recognized as meeting CUHK MBA concentration requirements subject to the prior approval of the Director of Graduate Studies. |
