The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ranks No.1 in QS Top 50 Under 50

QS Top 50 Under 50 is a new ranking that shines a light on the next generation of international thought leaders. Based on 2011/12 QS World University Rankings, QS Top 50 Under 50 lists the leading universities worldwide founded since 1962.

As in QS World University Rankings, institutions are ranked based on six criteria, including academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty, student/faculty ratio, international student ratio and international faculty ratio.


Putting Theory into Practice: CUHK MBA Students Participated in Various Business Competitions

Several teams of MBA students took part in various international business competitions to apply what they have leant inside the classroom to real life situations. Two teams represented CUHK MBA at the Hult Global Case Challenge 2012 , which is themed around global poverty and competed in Dubai and Shanghai.

Another team of students took part in the MBA Stock Pitch Competition in Singapore. The annual competition provides a forum for top MBA students in Asia to compete and showcase their equity research and stock-picking. The intense competition is designed to replicate the fast-paced, demanding experience of fundamental analysts and asset managers in the real world.

CUHK Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference Held Successfully

The 6th Annual CUHK MBA CSR Conference held in May marks the beginning for the growth of a new Asia century. The committee has been focused on how to raise awareness of corporate social responsibility in the academic, the corporate, and the community level to create a platform for sustainable synergy. Themed with “Shifting Today to a Sustainable Tomorrow”, the conference shows passion in creating a sustainable Asia through bringing success together from various sectors.

Welcome Abroad the CUHK MBA Academic Express

The welcome party for newly admitted students in 2012-intake had become a warm and happy memory in all the students’ minds. They changed notes, shared ideas and it was definitely a great chance to get to know people they will stay with in the coming one or two years. Current students and alumni also presented to share their experience learning and living.
