The Faculty of Business Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a pioneer in local graduate business education. Over the years, we have nurtured more than 12,000 undergraduates and over 4,000 MBA graduates, forming the most extensive alumni network in town. Many of them are now top executives or entrepreneurs in large corporations around the world.
With a heritage spanning more than 40 years, our MBA Programmes have been undergoing a course of evolution, which denotes our best endeavors to keep the programme in pace with the ever-changing business world. Among which, China element has always been at the heart of our education. This translates into a dedicated concentration option in China Business. Along with a China-focused curriculum, our students have started field trips to the mainland since 1999, where they can directly feel the pulse of the China market through visits and exchanges with mainland business leaders.
With the emerging role of China in the global arena, solid knowledge of China’s latest development is more important than ever. We developed close partnership in research and academic programmes in Finance and Accounting with renowned mainland institutions, such as Tsinghua University and the Shanghai National Accounting Institute. This together with a network of more than 1,000 mainland alumni, offers our MBA students a unique learning and exchange platform in the mainland.
Basing on the solid foundation of our main stream MBA studies in Finance, Marketing and Management, the Faculty further developed niche programmes which help equip students with relevant professional knowledge. One example is our JD-MBA Programme launched in 2007. Our latest initiative is the launching of the Entrepreneurship Concentration in the new school year of 2008-09. It is our vision to nurture a group of innovative entrepreneurs to capture the dynamic growth opportunities in China and our region.
