The IFA Programme was first introduced in the academic year 2002 - 2003. In the same year, its supporting student body, the Society of Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis, CUHK (SIFA, pronouced as /sai fa:/)(香港中文大學保險、財務與精算學系系會), was established. It aims to unite all the IFA students and improve their welfare. It helps build up the professional image of the students and foster their developments in moral, cognitive, physical, social and aesthetic aspects.
