To help secondary school students better understand
the undergraduate programmes for planning their future studies,
our Faculty has put much effort to introduce our undergraduate
programmes to them through various channels including introductory

Student
Ambassador Programme
Student Ambassador Programme is one of our outreach programmes to
promote our Faculty and undergraduate programmes to sixth formers.
Every year, we recruit our Year 1 and Year 2 students to join the
Student Ambassador Programme and act as our Faculty's ambassadors
to introduce our Faculty, undergraduate programmes and their university
life to junior fellows of their alma maters. This year, we have
58 student ambassadors visited 29 secondary schools in Hong Kong
from mid-October to early November. This shows a 16% increase in
the no. of student ambassadors and a 26% increase in the no. of
schools visited when compared with last year's programme.

Career
Master Meeting
It is an annual event to meet with the career masters of secondary
schools and provide them with up-to-date information on the curricula,
admission requirements and enrichment training of our undergraduate
programmes that most sixth formers are keen to know. This year's
meetings were held in early October on CUHK campus and at our MBA
Town Centre in Central. Eight BA faculty members attended the meetings
and addressed participants' questions individually. They are Prof.
Kam-hon Lee and Prof. Eliza Tse of School of Hotel and Tourism Management,
Prof. Dennis Fan and Prof. Albert Wong of Department of Finance,
Prof. Woody Wu and Mrs. Shirley Kan of School of Accountancy, Mr.
Jimmy Chiu of Department of Management and Dr. Agnes Sie, Administrative
Director (Undergraduate Studies). Over 90 career masters from 80
secondary schools participated in our meetings this year.
