Full-time Internship Programme

Upon finishing Year 1 studies, all students may join on a voluntary basis the full-time internship programme which usually commences in the summer term of the current academic year and ends in the summer term of the ensuing year*. Our Faculty all along believes that a blend of theory and practice is the key to students’ success in both their studies and career development. We therefore not only offer quality teaching to our students but also opportunities for them to apply in a real business workplace the knowledge and skills they acquired from class. Students who wish to take part in this internship programme are required to obtain prior approval from the Undergraduate Office, with subsequent submission of application for suspension of studies to the Registration and Examinations Section. Shortlisted students will work at a local industrial or commercial company. Upon completion of the internship, they are required to finish the remaining years of studies at the CUHK.

* Also applicable to students admitted in 2006-07 or before.
