2005-06 Notes of Course Registration for BA Current Students

 

Please be reminded that the course registration for current full-time undergraduate students will be held from 16 - 19 August 2005. When registering your courses for the 2005/06, please note the followings:

1. CUHK-PolyU Academic Partnership Scheme
   
The BA faculty has participated in the CUHK-PolyU Academic Partnership scheme, which provides an opportunity for our students to take some selected courses in PolyU starting from the academic year 2003-04. Details regarding the course list, course outline, and course selection form can be obtained from BA website starting from 15 August. Please refer to the following guidelines when choosing a course:
   
a)
Each student can take no more that one course from the selected courses offered by PolyU;
b)
The course to be taken at the PolyU could only be considered as free elective;
c)
The units of the PolyU course are subject to course load limit according to the Regulations of the CUHK, i.e. a maximum of 21 units per term;
d)
Courses successfully completed in PolyU will be given course/unit exemptions.
If you are interested in joining the CUHK-PolyU Academic Partnership Scheme, please complete the special Course Selection form and return it to the Undergraduate Office, G13 KK Leung Bldg, by 12:00noon, Saturday, 20 August 2005 for approval.
   
2.
Registration of required courses offered by other departments (MIB Concentration)
For Integrated BBA major students who are required or interested to take GPA2345, GPA2355, JAS3440, JAS3450, ECO3240, or ECO3340, you must choose these courses when selecting your major study scheme courses during e-Course Registration.
3.
"Expository Business Writing" for S6 entrants admitted in 2004-05 and thereafter
All Business Administration Major students are required to complete HMG2010 "Expository Business Writing". This course will be offered in 2nd term 2005-06. Please refer to university time-table for details.
4.
Course Outlines
In order to facilitate course selection, the course outlines of courses offered in the academic year 2004-05 are available on the BA website. You may refer to the course outlines when choosing your courses. However, please note that they are for reference only.
5.
Concentration Codes for Integrated BBA Programme
For the codes of the concentration areas, please refer to the BA website for more information.
