The Faculty of Business Administration has been a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong for 40 years. The first undergraduate business administration programme was started in 1963. Our EMBA Programme was ranked No. 1 in Asia by both the Financial Times and BusinessWeek in 2001, and again by the Financial Times in 2002-2006. In its latest global survey of 85 EMBA programmes worldwide, the Financial Times ranked CUHK's EMBA Programme No. 15 in 2006. It was also granted "The Best EMBA Educational Organization Award" by SmartFortune Magazine in 2004.

Over the past decade, APIB has provided executive training to a large number of public and private organizations in Hong Kong, China and Asia. Thousands of managers and executives participated in our executive programs from over 60 organizations covering all major sectors in the region and the world in the last 15 years.

An uncompromising insistence on quality and innovations continues to strengthen our status as the leading executive education provider in Asia and our executive programs are designed to combine the best business practices with the latest theories, with specific focus on relevance and application. Our faculty expertise in China and the region as well as our interactive training bring rewarding experiences to participants and tremendous value to their companies in meeting business challenges. In addition to the CUHK faculty, distinguished scholars from leading institutions around the world and executives from business, industrial and government sectors are also invited to supplement our faculty. They represent a wide range of expertise and practical experience in all relevant business disciplines.
