APIB Executive Training Emphasized Cross-Cultural Encounters

The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business (APIB) organized an annual one-month Management Communication Programme for the China Development Bank (CDB) in April. A total of 130 executives have participated in the programme, which includes workshops on business and cross cultural communication, seminars on banking and finance as well as corporate visits.

This year APIB offered CDB a unique experience of cross cultural encounters by organizing several joint sessions with graduate students from the University of Redlands, US, a delegation from Kuwait and executives from Credit Suisse.

Every year, APIB hosts international study programmes for institutions from various regions, thereby building up an extensive network of global partners. Through intensive interactions with their overseas counterparts, participants will have an excellent opportunity to understand the culture, values and aspirations of different part of the world. Putting great emphasis on sharing as well as experiential and practical learning, the programme comprises company visits, lectures, individual presentations, group discussions and luncheons.
