Dr. Woon, Y. Eden is the Director of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce is the oldest - founded in 1861 - and largest - with over 4000 corporate members - business organization in Hong Kong.
Dr. Woon assumed his current position in May 1997. From December 1994 until then, he was the Executive Director of the Seattle-based Washington State China Relations Council, a non-profit organization of over 180 members, including Boeing and Microsoft.
Prior to going to Seattle, Dr. Woon served for five years as the China policy advisor for the United States Secretary of Defense in the Pentagon. He retired from the US Air Force as a Colonel in 1993.
Dr. Woon has a doctorate degree in mathematics from the University of Washington.
Dr. Woon is on the Board of the Hong Kong Article Numbering Association, Tradelink Electronic Commerce, and the Hong Kong Tennis Foundation.

翁以登博士於1997年5月出任總商會總裁，由1994年12月起至履新前，他是美國華盛頓州中國交流理事會理事長。該組織是一家非牟利的商界組織，設於西雅圖，會員公司超過180家，包括波音飛機及微軟等機構。
在此之前，他曾在美國國防部任國防部長的中國政策顧問五年。他曾在美國空軍服務，於1993年退役時官至上校。
翁博士於華盛頓大學取得數學博士學位。
